South Ocean Golf and Beach Resort: Secluded Beach and Resort

Our stay at this hotel was satisfactory, but nothing too extraordinary. The one outstanding thing about this hotel is it is located on the desolate Southwestern end of the island, which provides all the privacy and peace and quiet you could want. The beach was small, but beautiful and the water was crystal clear, shallow for a long ways out , and very calm. The seclusion came with a price though, because nearly every time we went to town we had to call a taxi, which is rather expensive! The facilities had hammocks, a nice pool, a poolside bar which offered local foods such as conch fritters, a golf course (we never saw anyone using it), internet access, and very pretty rooms with a spectacular balcony view of the ocean. A couple notes about this hotel...I got the impression that it was running on a shoestring budget, because their were not enough staff members and sometimes the pool would not be stocked with towels and other little minor things would be overlooked, things that a major hotel would not let happen.

Atlantis: The Best Hotel in the Caribbean

Atlantis is a spectacular hotel with every amenity you could ever ask for. These are luxurious accomodations, but come with a luxurious price. Their are tons of restaurants, bars, and snack shops in the hotel and to be honest you really never have to leave the premises for anything. Their is an amazing workout facility, a lap pool, a large swimming pool, a water slide that goes through a sharktank, a lazy river that runs through a glass tube through an aquarium, a spectacular beach, and tons of sports and activities on site. Their are huge aquariums throughout the hotel, a large casino, and so much more to see and do. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!!! If you are not staying there, then at least stop by and see it, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The pools are awesome. The waterslide is a huge attraction. It shoots straight down and a clear tube takes you through an actual shark tank and you come out at another pool at the bottom. Tons of fun and quite a rush!!!!
