Villa valsayn: Villa valsayn is "malsaine"

I just want people to avoid this horrible place. The owner is an awful women whose only objective is to pick up all the money she can despite a very poor level of quality. For example, for the carnival last two days, she told us that she knew someone who can pick us up to the town and bring us back, we just had to call this person. So we did it because we were three people and the first time we did it it was 20 US dollars (expensive but ok if divided by three). But when we had to leave the place, the price had increased to 50 US dollars as it was the carnival. What an increase !!! So finally we had to pay 666 TT dollars which means everything : the devil is in this place ! You must not go there if you want to spend a good trip. I think it's better to rent a room in an hotel in the city for the two first days and after you will find some better places to sleep easily.

Valsayn Villa: Relax in the gazebo

The grounds around the guesthouse were beautiful with many trees and flowers. There was a gazebo near the pool with chairs for relaxing. I especially enjoyed all the beautiful orchids that were on display there.

Valsayn Villa Guesthouse: Guesthouse near airport

We were looking for a nice guesthouse located not far from the airport when we happened to find Valsayn Villa guesthouse.
It is located in Valsayn, a middle-class residential area which is 15 minutes by car from the Port-a-Spain airport.
We also wanted a driver to drive us around Trinidad and they had that.
The villa was owned by native Trinidadians.
The lady of the house did the cooking and the gentleman did the driving. He took us places that we would never have found on our own plus he knew where to find the best doubles in Trinidad.

Unique Quality: The villa had a lovely garden, gazebo filled with orchids, and nice pool .
