Parrot Estate Villa: Peaceful Luxury Villa amongst the wildlife

My wife and I stayed at Parrot Estate Villa in April 2008 and had a lovely holiday there.

The villa is located in between the fishing village of Castara and the secluded Englishman's bay beach, up high on the hills. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

it is a few minutes drive down the hill to Englishmans Bay which is a lovely secluded beach with excellent snorkelling. We also used the villa as a base to drive around and explore the entire island.

The villa is US$1000 per week year round, which if you have 4 people staying works out to a very reasonable $250 / £125 per person for the week. Pictures and contact at their website below.

Unique Quality: The villa is very private and tranquil - nearest village is a 10minute drive away; there are a few other villas, the nearest one being on the next hill around 500metres away.

There is a nice swimming pool, several really relaxing hammocks, and wonderful gardens with fresh grapefruit, lime, papaya, bannanas, and frequented by green parrots and hummingbirds amongst other birds.

There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equppied kitchen, as well as other ammenities such as books, games, TV/ DVD, binoculars and snorkelling equipment.

Car hire essential - manual Jeeps without A/C on the island can be had from around £20 per day.
