Tobago in November
Any information regarding weather and places to visit whilst on Tobago. We are keen birdwatchers, so would welcome any info on places and species.

Should be hot and dry.
Go to blue Waters Inn in Speyside on the north of the island. A diving place but beautiful scenery and quiet.
From Speyside take a boat to the islands (can't remember the name) where you can see plenty birds including some rare humming burds and parrots and frigate birds.
Otherwise the tourism is on the south side near the airport. Great restaurant called 11 degrees should not be missed. Enjoy.

Check this site for excellent birdwatching in Trinidad. It's only TT$200 by air to get to Trinidad and accommodations can be taken care of at Asa Wright. See link bleow.

Arnos Vale hotel is the place to visit if you love bird watching. I visited Tobago in the summer and the island is a haven for bird watchers. Arnos Vale has a beautiful beach but for your highlight you must visit the hotel for afternoon tea, at this time they feed the local birds and you can enjoy your own afternoon tea whilst watching all of the local birds visitng for food around your feet! Also from speyside you should take a glass bottom boat ride across to Little Tobago, (where insidently from the boat you will also be able to see the worlds largest brain coral) . This island was once owned by a bird enthusiast and he bought all of the worlds birds of paradise over to nest on the uninhabited island. Take the tour up to the top of the island with a guide and see what you come across. Hope this helps, if you need anymore info dont hesitate to get in touch!
