Be Chillin' at the Salt Raker Inn, Grant Turk
This is a great island secret. Erika, the innkeeper who speaks five language fluently is super nice, makes you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment that you arrive. The rooms are extremely clean and provide the best value on the island.
The Inn's restaurant the Secret Garden makes the best run punch and conch salad on the island and is a perfect refuge from the Carribean sun.
The Inn's beach is a great place to lounge the day away or snorkel.
Unique Quality: Great sunsets, and you can watch the whales go by during the winter months from your balcony. Free internet on site. Truly awesome!

Great Little Inn
The places to stay on Grand Turk are NOT the luxury resorts you find on Provo. They are small inns that cater to divers. I stayed at the Salt Raker Inn. It was a great bargain. It was built in 1825, and does not have fancy baths or even a pool. The owner, Erica was sweet and helpful. The rooms have airconditioning and mosquito nets. More than enough for a sleepy diver. Just be sure that you don't need extra sleep on Friday nights when they have live music, as you can hear it in your room. It was fine for me. All the other nights, I just fell asleep to the sound of the ocean.
