We stayed at the Allegro Resort and was very pleased. When we arrived we were given a partial ocean view hotel room. Before the porter even had a chance to leave we got a call, stating they had made a mistake & we were to have an upgrade. The porter took us to a one bedroom suite with a kitchen, living room, sunken tub and the best view of the ocean. A full frontal view! Before booking at the Allegro I had read other traveler's reviews that the housekeeping was less than desirable. We'll I'm here to tell you they were fantastic! Not a day went by that our suite wasn't clean & we had fresh towels and washcloth's. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning on traveling to T&C. And most importantly, please go all inclusive. There were no restaurants to speak of when we were there, so we ate at the resort 24/7. For those choosing to rent a condo, do so with a kitchen so that you can buy groceries and cook
For an island that has no night life, the Allegro at least had some entertainment. At night there were barbeques and shows. On the nights when there was no entertainment, you could go into the lobby to the Casino and play to your hearts content. Of course I won more money than my husband, lol. You didn't have to be a guest at the hotel either if you wanted to play, people from all the resorts were welcome. One of the pools at Beaches Resort by Roadquill Beaches Resort on Providencia Island in the Turks /Caicos Islands is an all inclusive resort catering to families with kids. While there are typical beach activities such as snorkling, water bikes, wind surfing, sea kayaking, etc, the waves are small so you just bob around. There are 4-5 pools, and volley ball games. My nieces and nephews loved it as they ate like pigs, drank all the soda they wanted, etc. etc. It is not my kind of place. I don't mind a few brews and mai tais, but I would rather explore. Unfortunately the resort and the island really isn't set up yet for exploring. ON a scale of 1 to 10, I would say food quality was a 5. The wine selection, albeit included in the all inclusive, was dismal.
If you like to bob in the water and sun, the beach is wonderful.

Our travel agent told us about this new hotel on Provo and after reading all the nice things about the Turks & Caicos Club, we decided to go for seven days. The hotel is 21 suites and our oceanfront suite overlooked the gorgeous Grace Bay Beach on a quiet stretch close to the reef and away from the all-inclusives. The service was excellent, food at Simba, the hotel's restaurant was superb, and accommodations were overall wonderful.
Gorgeous views of the beach! Right next to the reef! Fabulous food at Simba! Big fresh water pool! Gym on the property! Massages on our balcony!! Big gourmet kitchens in each suite! Great people working there! Just an overall wonderful island feel! The Comfort Suites are not directly on the beach, which is why they are a cheaper option. However, the beach is only a few minutes walk away and has what is definitely one of the better shopping complexes on the island directly opposite. Our room was very comfortable and we had a balcony with a sea view, albeit someway off in the distance. Unfortunately that won't last long as a new development is going up which will probably block off the sea view completely. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is also a desk where you can arrange excursions/Dive Trips etc.
The hotel has a pool, with plenty of sun loungers. It also has beach access and provides a number of sun beds on the beach too. Pool and Beach towels are provided and can be swapped for fresh ones throughout the stay. A continental style breakfast is provided free. It's nothing to write home about, but I've had worse in hotels where I've paid for breakfast so it was fine by me. The Ports of Call plaza opposite the hotel has 3 restaurants/cafes, gift shops, gym, diving shop and from our experience was probably one of the best on the island. There is also a bar by the pool, although this seemed to close quite early.

Club Med is the highest activity resort on the island. You don't have to do anything, or you can do everything. The food is average with buffet servings at every meal. This allows you to taste many of the items being offered. The resort was recently renovated and the rooms are clean and updated with new furniture. Now that Club Med has gone the route of totally all in clusive, which finally includes your liquor, there is little need to have and cash on you. The resort is huge and is located on the eastern shore of Grace Bay. The beach is fantastic with fine sand and warm clear water.
The center of the resort is the pool, main restaurant, main bar, and boutique. This is where most people can be found. The pool is good size and has a volley ball pool along side of the regular pool. The Club is always changing the decor around the pool and now has large lounges to lay on with cloth sun covers. The views of the beach are great wherever you look and the location on Grace Bay keeps you out of the congestion in the center of Grace Bay beach. Offered is some of the best wall diving available and not uncommon to see some large sharks and turtles. We recommend this resort to everyone and will be enjoying it ourselves for years to come.

Great location on the beach (Grace Bay). Food is decent, staff is fun, and there is always something to do.
