What is it with hotels named "Grand"?
Hotel Grand, situated in the heart of all that is cool and exciting in Tirana, is a rather disappointing hotel. The rooms are dark, the restaurant is of poor quality, and the wireless internet that services the hotel almost NEVER works.
While the strongest quality of this hotel is its location, Tirana is small enough where location does not have to be a determining factor when selecting a hotel.
Particularly if you are traveling on business, I would strongly discourage you from staying at the Grand.
