Hotel Korabi: Old, but nicely renovated rooms

It was difficult to find for the first time, because the building didn't show any sign "Hotel" or "Korabi". But it's the biggest building around and the entrance with red marble columns looked somewhat like a hotel lobby... Anyway, the people around were very friendly (as all Albanians we met) and helped us to get hold of the receptionist.

The room was nicely renovated and the beds comfortable. Only the fact that the shower was in the middle of the bathroom and did not have any curtains needed some getting used to - later I realized that this was probably the reason why there were two pairs of slippers provided in the room! At 25 EUR per night for a double room including a rich and delicious breakfast, the price seems more than reasonable.

The location of the hotel is quiet, since it's situated away from the main road, just at the far end of the pedestrian zone.

Unique Quality: The restaurant that belongs to the hotel seems to be a meeting place not just for hotel guests. The food they serve is very good and not expensive. Upon request, it was not problem to get a nice vegetarian meal for my daughter.
