Han of Elbasan: A Traditional Albanian Inn in Korce, Albania

    This is a traditional Ottoman Han (or inn) dating back to the early 1700's.

    Centrally located, inexpensive with a central courtyard. Very "simple" accomodation.

    • Breakfast here is FABULOUS - the best I had in Albania - and the staff are extremely helpful. (A couple of guests were disappointed to find that the Education Museum would be closed on the day they were there - the receptionist rang up the director, explained the problem, and he said he'd open it again for a few hours just for them !) The room was perfectly decent - it was clean, and I slept well.
