Hotel, bar, restaurant, piceri Belvedere stands at the end of the two main streets of Kruja. These streets are not at the same level. If you arrive by the left road, you will get the aspect on the first photo. The five arched windows are the windows of the bar. The hotel is on top.
If you arrive by the other street, on the right, you will arrive at a dead end (may 2007), near the old bazaar and get the figure given on the second photo. On the left of the photo, a sign with “Hotel, bar, restaurant, piceri Belvedere” is affixed on top of a shop but this is not the hotel. We had to ask and a nice guy told us to go to the passage with stairs on the right of the photo. We saw later that on top of the passage, was written in golden letters “restaurant Panorama”. We climbed to the first level and found the restaurant on the right. In the restaurant, we were told to climb another level and go to the bar, on the left. After a while, we found a guy that besides Albanian talked only German and we explained him that we wanted a room for one night. He said “ein moment, bitte” and we waited for a quarter an hour. He finally came back with another man that spoke only Albanian who took us to the upper level where the four rooms of the hotel were available and he let us chose the one we preferred. They were almost alike and we chose one randomly. It was small but cozy, with a lot of wood and a terrific view (hotel Panorama!) on the bazaar and the castle.
