    Salvia hotel is very good located. Even the hotel is a 3 star the looby seems a 4 or 5 star.
    Friendly service.
    Rooms average. I got a room on the top of the building (attic), it is nice because you are by yourself but the roof in some places of the room is not high enough.
    Parking just ok.... too small. If you are driving a big car try to find other parking lot.
    Walking distance to shopping area.

    I booked it on half board basis, buffet breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was sufficient for a long day skiing but dinner did not have great variety but good amount of food if you like to eat...

    All the pictures in my hotel tips are not mine. Next time I go to Andorra I will take some photos.
    Panorama hotel is located in Escaldes, for me Escaldes and Andorra la Vella is the same thing but not for locals.
    When making a booking in this hotel do not forget to make it in half board, the breakfast and dinner buffet are great.
    Rooms are average and views to the city are good. Ask for a room with city view.
    It has swimming pool and jacuzzy on the topo of the building. The swimming pool is quite small.
    Do not use their parking it is small and very hard to park. Just park in the side walk in front the hotel, does not matter and you save some money.. :-))

    Remember hotels in Andorra are basic.

    • I am sorry, I do not have/find any Eureka pic, but do not worry, it is ok I can describe it in few words.
    I have been twice in this hotel, I do not know why, but it is horrible.
    It has 4 star, but for the service, rooms, etc should have only 2.

    Hotel President is located kind of far from the shopping area, and to go skiing is necesary to go through the hold city.
    Rooms are good and confortable.
    It has swimming pool, jacuzzy and good parking.

    This hotel is not very big. It has few rooms but all of them with nice details. Everything you need in the room you have it.
    Service very polite and friendly.
    Buffete Breakfast is not very big and the food is not big deal.

    Restaurant, really, really nice. Try the dinner here at least one night. It's kind of slow as in a deluxe restaurant... but worthy!!!

    Free spa in the hotel... sauna, jacuzzy, Turkish bath...

    One afternoon, a friend of mine and I decided to go to Andorra to go skiing, so we drove right after work from Barcelona to Andorra. We got to Andorra about midnight and we started looking for a hotel, we though it was easy and it wasn´t. It was the "white week" so all the schools from France and Spain were there, all the hotels full!!!
    Finally, after almost two hours, we stopped by the Eurotel and we booked the last room, I guess the last room in Andorra.
    It was not bad!!

    We did not have time to see the hotel during the day but all I can tell about is that the hotel is basic as it is a 03 star hotel.
    The receptionist was so friendly as much as he didn't ask for any money or credit card when we checked in. We are good boys... :-))

    Do not get a room on the road side, it is terrible, the noise is terrible, specially in the morning when all the people go to work!!!
    About breakfast was not bad for been a 03 star in Andorra.
    Parking is small but there is a big one, one block from there for the same price and much easier to park.

    Normally, as you know from reading my other pages, I usually sleep on friends floors, hostels, overnight trains and in churches (long story - read my Brussels page). But seeing as the insurance company was paying for it, I went to one of the top hotels in town :)

    I had an en-suite room with wide-screen tv, dvd, jacuzzi, HUGE bed (look, you could practically have an orgy in there!)and a shower with lots of fiddly digital controls and a laminated manual. I fell in loooooooooove with the bathroom! Remote-control jacuzzi, the shower had buttons to create a sauna or a hydromassage. Breakfast is 9€ extra. Complimentary bathroom goodies, dressing gown, slippers and stationery.

    I'll be using this photo for my accomodation tips elsewhere in VT, but now you know where the room really is. ;-)

    Most of the hotels are situated in Andorra la Vella. In the high season the hotels are very expensive but also you can find nice appartments to rent.

    HOTEL AUSTRIA its the ideal site for ski-buffs, 2km. from the Grau Roig-Pas de la Casa ski-runs. The hotel is also within close distance to the important Andorran shopping area. they can also provide apartments and studio-flats across from the hotel

  • Directions: This building is a youth hostel in Andorra. Everything in this country was uncrowded and almost devoid of people. Very relaxing I must say!
