First Time

by gp171080

I am looking to go skiing for the very first time in March next year. Is Arinsal, Andorra a good place to start?

I have also been looking at the Hotel at Princessa Parc - has anyone stayed there before, if so, is it any good?

Thanks

Arinsal is a very good place to start. The hotels also look good. I stayed at the St Gotthard which was excellent although a little away from yhe noisier bars, food was superb.

Arinsal has a ski school, which offers tuition for all levels in skiing and snowboarding.

During the summer, there are lots of hiking groups who come to Andorra. You'd need to be really fit to do it!! If you book through a travel agent, a lot of the equipment could be included in the price, but check first!!

A: "Arinsal is very casual - some [but few] dress up. High heels are not really appropriate if [like us] you have an uphill climb to your hotel in snow! I wore jeans/cords..."
