Arinsal is a lively but small resort. There is a small village at the foot of the slopes but a lot of the hotels are quite a distance downhill from here, a ski bus will often be necessary.
The skiing at Arinsal was good but fairly limited, however it has recently been joined by lift to the nearby ski area of Pal (we had to go there by bus) and there was much more varied terrain here with some pleasant skiing through trees.
The food was ekcellent and plentiful and everything was reasonably priced, a lot of people bought ski gear while they were there.
If you are looking for an inexpensive resort to learn or improve your skiing then this is the place.
