so should i leave the high heels at home then?is it really very casual over there??

Arinsal is very casual - some [but few] dress up. High heels are not really appropriate if [like us] you have an uphill climb to your hotel in snow! I wore jeans/cords with apres ski boots/sketchers for duration of holiday - even on new years eve there was no one really dressed up at hotel. Its a wonderful way to holiday.

I'd leave them at home if only because everywhere is on the side of a mountain! Hardly any flat areas at all. Beautiful though.

Dont Bring Alot Of Heavy Bags Its Hard To Carry Up Any Steps Your Hotel Has OutSide As Its All Snow ANd Ice On Them Warm Clothes For Night Gets A Bit Chilly Walking Home Half Time You Dont Notice If Youve Had Some Drink In Ya....Bring Boots 2 Keep Your Toes Warm At Night Not High Heel Boots Cos You WIlL End Up Falling Bring Your Own Toiletries As You Only Be Supplied With Towels And Little Satches(1 or 2) of Shampoo And Soap Bring A Camera So You WOnt Miss A Perfect Picture Of You And Your Mates Stumbling DOwn The Snow Or Stumbling Out Of A Bar I Dont Know What This Means But Il Say Bring A CD Player As The Satilite TV Provided Only Shows Spanish Speaking Shows And Everyone Loves A Bit Music Getting Ready To Head Out
