This was a lovely hotel to stay at.
The rooms were of a good size and were cleaned to a high standard every day. Most importantly the bed was comfy!
The public areas of the hotel were spacious and well decorated. At the time we were staying it was very much low season and so there weren't that many people in the hotel and so none of the public areas were ever crowded. We never had to wait for service at reception or the bar etc.
The food in the restaurant was good. It wasn't great - but hotel food rarely is - but it was better than most with the main course being waitress service and starter was a buffet. Breakfast was buffet style as well and there was a wide choice of lovely things to try. The hotel also prepared packed lunches for us to take out on a days walking which we thought was a nice touch. The lunches were fairly basic but good and filling - a drink, piece of fruit and a piece of cake along with sandwiches. The sandwiches are however always just a variation on ham and cheese - so ham, or cheese, or ham & cheese!
Unique Quality: Because of the location close to the Val d'Incles the hotel has superb views all around it and this is a real bonus in my opinion.

There is a hotel called AHotels Hotel Piolets Park & Spa in Soldeu and it has great spa facilities. After a days walking or biking it is a great place to go and relax and unwind.
They charge about £6 each to use their swimming pools, steam room, sauna, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi - and you don't even have to take your own towel, they provide them.
Lovely hotel, beautiful facilities
Because of the location close to the Val d'Incles the hotel has superb views all around it and this is a real bonus in my opinion.
