The plus points were that the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful and there was a good variety of food for breakfast.
The minus points were that whilst I was there it was 29c and the rooms didn't have air conditioning. Therefore it was difficult to sleep at night even with the windows wide open. Also the showers were a bit strange. Instead of them being installed at either end of the bath, they were in the middle and you can't adjust the spray so it sprays all over the shower screen but not actually on your body!!!!
Directions: The Hotel Burgenland is conveniently located in the center of Eisenstadt at the beginning of the pedestrian area and only a few minutes away from the impressive Esterházy Palace where Joseph Haydn performed.
