Rathausplatz Hotel: Simple & Clean

This hotel is located in the Rathausplatz (Town hall square). I had a double room and it was large and clean. The beds were twin size pushed together to make a double-bed (that's typical in Austria!). The bathroom was also large and nice. My room came with a TV, desk, chairs and clothes cupboard. The breakfast was a typical austrian breakfast with fresh bread, warm rolls, cold ham, cheese, cereals, milk, half-boiled egg, butter and jam, coffee and tea.

Rathausplatz Hotel: Quaint little place

The Rathausplatz Hotel is located near the town square in Rust. It's a simple place with basic amenities found in most guesthouses or inns around Austria. The room is small, clean and has ensuite bath. Single rooms come with one bed whilst double rooms come with 2 single beds pushed together. Breakfast at the Rathausplatz is typical Austrian, e.g bacons, sausage, semmel with hot drinks & juice

Hotel-Restaurant Am Rathausplatz: Quiet, unfussed and inexpensive

We decided on Hotel-Restaurant Am Rathausplatz. A pleasant old hotel underneath the church steeple with an attached pizzeria. The room itself was, as most in Austria: clean, comfortable and well equipped.
The breakfast is included and is more then ample.
The rooms overlook village life and rooftops.
So natural it feels like home.

None outstanding, just comfortable

CAMPING SITE - STORCHEN-CAMP

Ididn't stay at this campsite as I wasn't in the area for long enough but when I was at the leisure centre in Rust I found some adverts for it. The website looks good (see below). Prices can be seen if you paste this link:
http://www.gmeiner.co.at/pdf/preise_ca_ru.pdf
To give you an idea, during the summer 2003 it costs 5.10 Euro per adult in the high season and 3.20 for a tent with some other local taxes at around 70 cents per person

Highlights of staying here include chance to rent bicycles for the many cycle paths, book boat trips and and 10% discount on hire of pedal boats and mini motorboats.
