Jugend un Familiengästehaus Villach: Youth Hostel Villach

This is a very nice hostel that is located about a 15-20 min walk (2 km) from the main train station. It is a very clean place with room with bunkbeds for 4 people. Each room has four separate locked closets, its own shower, and a large table. Breakfast is included. This hostel is designed for both young adults and families, as well as school groups and is open 24 hrs. As opposed to many hostels, it is very quiet at night. For one night, a private room for two people (but 4 bunkbeds) ended up being 55 euros, which is pretty reasonab compared to other options in Villach.

Unique Quality: This hostel also has a sauna, TV room and games room. There is also a place to check your e-mail. Luch and dinner is available for extra. Apparantly there are also tennis lessons and a shuttle service available, but I didn't look into it much.

Villach has several hotels and...

Villach has several hotels and some good campings nearby. One of these campings is the Schluga camping in Hermagor. You can find it at Hermagor-Vellach 15 A-9620, Karnten, tel. (43) (0) 4282-2051.

PENSION HAUS BEATE***: Accomodation close to ski jumping hills

10 beds, all rooms with shower/toilet, radio & satelite TV, parking, terrace, table tennis. Open all year round.
Prices per day/person: EUR 18-21 (breakfast included)
We wanted to stay there as it was exactly across the hotel where all jumpers stayed, but it was fully booked.
