Hotel Richard Loewenherz: downtown hotel
Another hotel in Durnstein proper with a nice courtyard, inviting to walkers-by. 39 rooms run from April until October and cost between $125 for a single room to the Margareta Suite for about $400 per night, which includes a buffet breakfast. There are occasional specials on their fancy website---check it out. The restaurant's menu shows all the regional specialities including goulash, duck , fresh fish and scallops, and much more.
good location, sumptious design

Hotel Sanger Blondel: Downtown Durnstein
This is a restaurant and hotel, with 16 rooms costing from $75-$150 (suite with balcony).
Open from March to November and is named for the famous singer/minstrel who supposedly saved King Richard's a** from bondage. The same family has owned this place for over 250 years and it shows even from the courtyard. Staying in Durnstein for a night might be really fun, or it could be really boring.....Maybe if you could find out where the locals hung out.....
great location and prices

Saenger Blondel Hotel: Cute little hotel in town centre
We stayed here in August 2008 because we attended a friend's wedding held in Durnstein. We had a double room (Euro 93 per night) on the 3rd floor.
Hotel is located next to the Durnstein church and the Richard Lionhearted Hotel. Conveniently in the town centre, close to the Danube River.
