This lovely hotel is in a quiet sidestreet, where you may drive to the hotel, unload the lugguage and search for another parking.
On my picture you see the hotel on the right and the shady restaurant-garden on the left.
Almost NO daytourists will get there and that way the hotel is the perfect place to stay, when you like to relax .
Rooms are rather cheap, starting with 29 Euros per person, including breakfast-buffet. Hotel Stadt Melk is easily to be found, when you drive into town.
They have a nice restaurant and a small restaurant-garden on main square.
Some of the rooms have balconies facing the square.
Melk gets a sleepy town, as soon as the daytourists for the monastery are gone.
The hotel is located conveniently on the main-square of Melk with plenty of parking-spaces .
On the square parking is restricted to 90 minutes, but in a distance of about 100 meters you find also spaces without limitations. Some miles outside of Vienna is the charming village of Klosterneuburg in the Vienna woods.
The complex of residential buildings is close "Railwaystation Weidling" in the Erzherzog Rainergasse and can be rented from April.
