a quiet hotel in a side-street
This lovely hotel in a quiet and cosy sidestreet of Melk dates back to the 15th century and was the tavern of the monastery once.Lately it was reconstructed into a modern hotel with all facilities even including Cable-TV and anti-allergic linen. When staying in the hotel you may drive to the hotel-entrance, unload the lugguage and search for another parking afterwards.
Unique Quality: On my picture you see the hotel on the right and the shady restaurant-garden on the left. Almost NO daytourists will get there and that way the hotel is the perfect place to stay, when you like to relax . Rooms are rather cheap, starting with 29 Euros per person, including a nice breakfast-buffet.
