Berghaus Hochschneeberg: a lovely, romantic & very special hotel

This hotel was rebuilt recently and I just saw the old house with interesting architecture, full of antique furniture and great details, you really get the feeling you are back in the times of the end of 19th century, when the emperor spent a night in this hotel, you even can reserve the room of the emperor.

Prices are low as well for such a special place :
32 euros p.P. in the double,
unfortunately I dont know about single rooms
AND you can get a combination-ticket
Salamander-train+Hotel = 49,90 euros p.P.
30,90 euros for children
29,90 is the ordinary fare of the train,
so 49,90 is a real bargain for hotel+transport !

Unique Quality: This mountain-hotel is 1800 meters high, just 2 minutes to walk from the station of the Salamander-train, it has a great restaurant with specialities of local game, you can try "Schneeberg-Krapfen" - see my local customs-tip!
They even have a sauna and solarium there, in case that it is too cold for hiking
