Pension Alpenblick: My preffered place to stay in Sankt Wolfgang
First time in August 2007 I found it online, I liked it so much that I have returned exactly one year later. Pension Alpenblick is a family run guest house offering bed and breakfast.
It's no fancy hotel, it's not exactly downtown, but the view is great, the rooms are nice, the price is nice, the walk to downtown takes 10 minutes and it's great to do any time of day and not the least the owner - Ms. Cecilia Senjak - is a lively and welcoming host.

Hotel-Pension Seerose: Famous owner
This place located on the western side of town, is a great option in the 40 Euro range. The owner is a former Austrian ski champion named Roswitha Raudaschl. She competed in the Calgary Olympics and is a champion hotel owner too. There are some great photos of some of the world's great ski destinations throughout the pension and Roswitha was a pleasure to talk with and was also helpful in answering questions about the area.
The hotel has a private beach, in suite bathrooms, breakfast is included, there is a nice porch and best of all, a celebrity owner!
