hmm, what should I say...
Stadthotel Styria is another 4star-hotel in the very centre of Steyr and I was working there for 3 years. Take a look at their webpage below, they have some really great rooms and excellent furniture etc., BUT you may as well get a room that has only windows facing the large wintergarden, where a mexican restaurant , a hair-saloon and an ice-parlour offer different noises and smells, maybe even late at night, while you like to sleep. Some of the rooms have their only window facing the corridor, where everybody has to walk to the lift in the back of the building.
Unique Quality: There is something you should know, when booking in this hotel :
1) take a look at your room, hopefully you get one with a window facing the outside...
2) There is no night-porter in this hotel, so you cannot arrive after 11.00p.m. or check out before 07.00a.m. For the booked reservations they will give you a code-number for the key-safe at the entrance.
