View from a Schloss

"Looking towards the Mountains"

Years ago I stayed at a place called Schloss Mittersill, overlooking the village of Mittersill. It was owned by a Christian organisation, I believe, and was a place for a retreat. I'm not so sure we students retreated! We sure had fun.
As I recall the valley that the Schloss overlooked was one of the main ones through Austria and thus had seen much action over the centuries. I don't remember the age of the castle, but it had a passage/tunnel from the schloss to the village that had been used many times over time.
This picture looks up to the ski hill that I had skiied on the day before.
