Country-style living

A very "homey" place to stay in. The owner and staff treated us like old acquaintances rather than new guests.

The owner made it a point to exchange pleasantries with us during breakfast. The girl staff was very accommodating and really concerned about our sightseeing and shopping plans. She patiently briefed us on Salzburg, the Salzburg Card, available tours, and Europark.

The thing we really had a time laughing about is the door to our T/B - it is made of stained glass. Really leaves nothing to the imagination.

Unique Quality: Our room fronts the street, church and cemetery. But since there were few cars and people in the street, we were never bothered by the noise.

Except, we did not our watch to check the time. All we had to do was listen when the church bell tolls.

A: "Couldn't say which is more "polite", but I'd say "grüss Gott" is more common."
