No Mountain Views as Promised

First Impression - we did not get a very warm welcome from the owners. In fact, throughout our stay of 4 days, we never once felt like we belonged there!

Location - beware the uphill walk! If you are not into walking long distances or are not planning to drive, forget about staying here!

Breakfast - erratic! Sometimes we get juice and on other days we don't but someone else at the next table gets your share! We broke a juice jug and brought it to their attention and apologise. She said 'no problem' but added a cost to the bill when we checked out!!!

Room - a complete rip-off!!! We reserved a room with private bath and guess their idea of private bath is putting a shower cubicle right at a corner of the room with absolutely no privacy cos the shower doors were glass!!! There was no toilet facility in the room - for that we had to share with everyone else down the corridor! Rooms were cramped with hardly any space for luggage!!

Caution - the website showed a fantastic view but this was not to be seen anywhere from our balcony which by the way is shared with 2 other rooms!

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

A: "Couldn't say which is more "polite", but I'd say "grüss Gott" is more common."
