A Pleasant Stay!

Salzburg was the third stop on our road trip through Europe. We arrived there at about 7.30 pm and since we hadn't booked a hotel room for our first night, we had to find a place to stay before anything else. We started wandering along the streets in the centre and after a while this yellow building with a hotel sign catched our eyes. It looked decent and not too expensive for us, so we decided to step in and ask if they had a room available at a reasonable price.

The girls at the reception were very friendly and spoke fluent English, and most importantly, they could offer us a double room for 79 €. As the hotel seemed very clean and everything looked fine, we took it without hesitation. The hotel had a small parking place, but since it was full, we had to find a place by the street behind the blue line. Luckily, we were able to park right in front of the hotel.

Our room was quite spacious and had a simple, yet modern decor. We had a view over to the lively pedestrian street. The bathroom was very bright and spacious, too, and the towels spotlessly clean. The only thing I missed in the room was a fridge, but as we only stayed for one night, it didn't really matter. Anyway, with or without the fridge, the room was comfortable enough to stay even more than one night!

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, as it's situated right at the start of the pedestrian street where you'll find many restaurants and shops. As for the breakfast, it was plentiful and the breakfast room itself was pleasant and didn't get too crowded.

All in all, the hotel seemed like it had just been refurbished, as everything was so shiny, new and clean. I really enjoyed our short stay and would gladly recommend it to all visitors in Salzburg!
