The receptionists spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. The maid was quite sweet, too. The room I had was a single room and fairly small but suitable for my needs as I was out most of the day. The hotel provides a free breakfast (this may not be applicable all the time - I suppose it depends on who you book with) which consisted of breakfast cereals, fruit salad, breads, cold meats, cheeses, jams and drinks. The hotel also has a conference room, which has a computer in it, which all guests are entitled to use for free. There is also a small bar, a garden and on street parking (there might be a charge for parking - I didn't use it) The hotel was quiet - no rowdy groups of thirtysomethings - but there was some street noise around 7am each morning when (I think) the bin men came.
The hotel has the softest pillows in the whole world - they feel like they are filled with candy floss! BUT, as luxurious as they are they offer ZERO support for your neck, shoulders and back. I asked for another pillow, so that I had two, but it was still pretty much useless - I had to fold BOTH pillows in half to get any kind of neck support. Still, I would have loved to have brought one home with me...!
