This is a family-run hotel with about 30 rooms and a very nice atmosphere. It is named after the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich, who basically ruled Salzburg in the late 1500's and is responsible for much of its architecture. The back of the hotel looks out on the cemetery of St. Sebastian's church, including the mausoleum of Wolf Dietrich. (Mozart's father and wife are buried in the cemetery.) The hotel has a nice restaurant (recently converted to an organic restaurant and very good) and a good breakfast. All the rooms have video players and you can borrow videos (including a few in English) from a collection of loaners. There's also an indoor pool! The people at the hotel are very good to help with tours, concert tickets etc.
