Promenade at St. Gilgen

The day we visited St Gilgen there had been a wedding in the Rathaus (Town Hall).
The reception was being held in the hotel opposite the Rathaus. I was able to take a picture of the bride, and also the silver wedding car. These are shown in the photo's together with this tip.
Sailing-boats for rent are offered at all villages on Wolfgangsee and the whole mountain-scenery certainly adds a lot of extra-fun to this sport. No special equipment is necessary here, you may rent directely in St.Gilgen - BUT be prepared, Sankt Gilgen is certainly not a cheap place !!
Right in front of the Mozart Gedenkstaette you may see a small fountain with a young girl, playing with a ring.
It is to memorize the time, when Mozarts mother spent her childhood in Sankt Gilgen.
St. Gilgen was on our tour itinerary for the day, so it was really a whistle stop here.
This is a peaceful little promenade at St. Gilgen, time to sit and watch the boats etc.
There is a little park behind this promenade, also very pretty to sit and rest a while.
