Can anyone advise of train travel timetables from Munich to Zell am See summertime 2010
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
You'll usually make at least one change, normally either in Wörgl or Salzburg. Travel time is 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours each way.
The data for next summer will not yet be loaded onto the bahn.de database, but you can check times, details and fares using
http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml
Choose the same day of the wek as you are likely to ant to travel.
Bahn.de offer cheap online advance fares on some routes (including this one, it seems). These are well worth using, and offer ood savings. Booking online is very easy. You will receive an e-ticket by email . You show this, and the card you used online to buy the ticket, to the guard. works very well indeed...but it is essential you take the same card with you!
You'll need to book several weeks in advance (I'd start looking at least a couple of months ahead) to get these cheap fares, because availability is limited and they soon sell out.
Timetables until 11.12.2010 are loaded.
On DB website you can book maximum 89 days in advance.

The Austria-fountain is a construction designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and you will find it inside the area of the Grand-Hotel, next to the lake. It looks quite interesting and colorfull like all works by F. Hundertwasser and it is accessible all day and night. The water is pumped to the very top and will finally flow down in these stonebridges, thats all.
