Schmittenhöhe by codrutz
Schmittenhöhe is the 2000meter mountain with cable transport access from Zell am See and Schuttdorf. From Schuttdorf you take the gondola - Areitbahn 1, which takes a stop at Areitalm (but don't get off there if you want to go up - the same gondola goes further up) - Areitbahn 2 then you reach again an intermediate stop then take Areitbahn 3 for the top (2000m).
Going up from Schuttdorf is the best way because you have gondolas and you are warm.
From Zell am See you take the gondola City Xpress then the 4 persons chairlift Kirschkogel then you intersect the Areitbahn and take the Areitbahn 3 to the top.
