Grüner See

It is a beautiful lake close to Tragöß. Well-known for its stunning green color, this lake offers fantastic walks and is a perfect place for diving. (You need a valid diving license to dive there, there is no diving school) If you are travelling by car head for Tragöß. It will take about 30min to reach Grüner See by car. Be aware that the parking space at Grüner See is subject to fees. (about €2 for one day)

Bruck an der Mur is a city of some 13,500 people located in the Austrian state of Styria. It is located at the confluence of the Mur and Mürz Rivers. Its manufactures include metal products and paper; Bruck is an important rail junction in the region located on the Graz to Vienna main line.

The town was founded in 1263 by King Otakar II of Bohemia. Bruck an der Mur was an important medieval trade center specializing in iron work.
