“Zum Goldenen Ochsen” is a very old house with a strong tradition.
Since 1740, this house is known in Mariazell.

This great 4star-hotel has about 30 rooms with private facilities, a nice restaurant,cafe, house-bar and lift.

The garden-restaurant and cafe faces the main-square and offers a great view on the basilika !

Hotel 3Hasen in the quiet
Wienerstrasse

Hotel 3Hasen (3rabbits) is in Wienerstrasse, about 200 meters from the main-square of Mariazell and you may get to the Basilika by a walk of just 3 minutes.
Wienerstrasse is a lot more quiet than the busy main-square of Mariazell, with several hundreds or sometimes even thousands of pilgrims every day. The hotel has 3 stars and reasonable prices.

Just opposite of Hotel Drei Hasen you may take the cablecar getting you up on Bürgeralpe all year long. - Great for hikers in summer and for skiers in wintertime.

This establishment has decided to make a niche and attack the luxury end of the market. They have altered the room layout to make suites and offer special weekend packages including a Romantic weekend!
The packages include accommodation and meals. Good for a special occasion.

Hotel Haus Feichtegger

70's style decor but quite comfortable. Rooms have radios and small TVs. My room was really hot even though it was well below freezing outside.
