As for me, this charming town of merely 5,000 inhabitants seemingly has it all - awesome ski slopes, gemütlich services at reasonable prices, great location with simple car accessibility, and plentiful après ski options.

Schladming is located in the Upper Styria (Obersteiermark), just some 300 km from Vienna and 90 km from Salzburg, directly on the B320 road.
