Haus Alpenstern: comfortable in Ehrwald
We stayed only one night and caught our hosts at an inconvenient time for them in the off season (October) but were treated very well with a clean, comfortable room, convenient off street parking and a very good breakfast.
Unique Quality: Nice mountain views - treated very well - convenient on Hauptstrasse - good recomendation for dinner (the tennis club- great local food at a very good price)

Gasthaus Haag: In the shadows of the Zugspitze
A great place to sleep and use as a home base for your Zugspitz Arena adventures. The family is very helpful and extremely nice. The son speaks very good English. The rooms are Spartan, but the beds are comfortable and the views are breathtaking. You have a patio with two chairs and a table to enjoy the scenery from outside.
The bathrooms are acceptable with a shower only in the room I had.
Also has a large green area to lay in the sun or for kids to play...
Breakfast is included in the 30 euro price that I paid !!!
