Sale at the Swarvoski Store

Has anyone been to the Swarvoski Crystal store in Innsbruck? Is everything in the store at full retail price? Do they have sale? If not, I thought I would just buy my gifts here in So California at the mall.

Do you mean the Swarovski store in Innsbruck city (near Golden Dachl) or the store at Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens (20 kms from Innsbruck) ?
I've been to both several times. The prices in both stores are similar to those here in Belgium. The can be some discount actions, but they're limited. I can't compare to fax free prices at airports.
The entrance fee to the Kristallwelten is 9,5 €, but if you like Swarovski it's a nice visit. This is the offical website : http://kristallwelten.swarovski.com/Content.Node/homepage.php

At the Swarovski Kristallwetten the prices are not lower that in other shops, but the choice is huge. I would recommend to go there only to collectors who look for something special that is not easy to find otherwise.

Being yourself in the nature

First of all, hiking in the mountains in summer. During summer the local tourist office organize hikes for free with bus and guides. No matter you go there alone or with your loved one, you will have great fun in the mountains How did I passed my day? starting with a big breakfast; picking lunch (2 panini and a bottle of water) from an Italian lady's shop close to the university; hiking during the day; sauna and refresh in cold air on the balcone of the hotel health center; big dinner in my hotel restaurant, where I could have anything I saw on or out of the manu, the nice waiters used to prepare a dish of fruit for me to take to my hotel room, and some of the fruit would be next day's lunch :) some tv before falling asleep - usually it's not difficult :)
Hofkirche

Near of Hofburg you can find Hofkirche. It was built in Ferdinand I times in 1555-1565. The interior is very exciting, especially the Maximilian I's grave ensemble and statues of the Dukes of Tirol. Some more pics in the travelogue.
Golden Dachl

Herzog-Friedrich-Strasse which is the main street of the old town leads into a plaza lined with arcades and overlooked by the Goldenes Dachl, or golden roof - the balcony of which overlooks the square and from which the 16th century imperial court would watch entertainment in the square below.
Inside is the Maximilianeum, a museum of Kaiser Maximilians life, which features exhibits and a video show.

NO restaurant , except fast food outlets e.g., Burger King, McDonald, is open on the Christmas in this city. NOT even Chinese restaurants.
Prepare food if you don't want to end up eating juke food:)
Winter / Spring

The weather can change really drastically from one day to the other, so bring warm clothes just in case it will rain, or it will be cold. If you want to go up in the mountain during this seasons, remember to take really warm clothes and confortable hiking shoes, because you'll find snow !
