    The Hilton Hotel in Innsbruck is the same building, where I was working in 1979 at the reception, but back then it was a Holiday Inn and today it belongs to the Hilton-hotels.

    The building is quite high, and it was one of the first such buildings in Austria, that had 2 completely seperated towers outside of the building, ment to be used to run down the stairs in case of a fire or other emergency.
    Next to the Hilton you will find a modern Casino - you may see it on my picture !
    Celebrities who stayed in that hotel, while I was working there :
    "Smokie" - including a bunch of teenies running after them -
    Milva - Sir Peter Ustinov...

  • Directions: The Hilton-hotel is next to the Triumphbogen / Triumphal arch, and only about 500 meters to walk from "Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof" , the main train-station of Innsbruck.

    My favorite was The Holiday Inn. I had never such a excellent Holyday Inn before anywhere. And as far as I am concenrned, I never had a bad experiance in any Holiday Inn.

    Holiday Inn: $ 150 for a double room and $ 100 for a single, which is a double, but used by one person.

    • The rooms were all unique, beds comfy, and staff friendly and helpful. I went here on a class trip, and I plan to come back again in a few years after graduating! I also would like to say that the breakfasts were delicious, and the service was quick and efficient!
    Keep on doing what you do Hilton Innsbruck!

    • I like the Hilton in Innsbruck as it is located in the very center of Innsbruck.

    Hilton breakfast is not included with the room rate.

    Hilton Innsbruck and Casino Innsbruck share the same building.

    Sauna, steam sauna and a small gym is included with the rate. I recommend the finnish Sauna with temperatures of about 90 degrees celsius.
    It is one sauna for male and female!

    This hotel doesn't need presentation, the name it's already well known, but some people might think that since is so well known it's expensive, well not really.

    The hotel is located centrally in Innsbruck, with a fantastic view on the town and on the beautiful mountains.

    Rooms are really nice, with a lot of space and really well kept.
    An inside parking is available below the hotel, so you can keep your vehicle safe while you sleep or you are out walking, otherwise there's a parking outside behind the hotel.

    People at the reception are really friendly and always available to answer your questions, even if you want to plan a visit to some museum or other places, they can help you reach the place and get information about the place (opening hours, etc...)
