We spent one night at the Innsbruck Hilton – traveling with family so we had two rooms which connected. The hotel was doing some construction so upon arrival it was a bit tricky to find the front door and the parking; thankfully one of the hotel desk clerks was outside and directed us. The hotel was conveniently located in the center of town, making it easy to walk to wherever we wanted to go.
Our rooms were clean and well maintained. We were traveling with a toddler and the crib we had requested earlier was waiting for us in one of the rooms along with welcome fruit baskets and juice in each of the rooms. The staff was extremely helpful with our questions on places to eat and things to see and their recommendations were accurate.
In the morning we found that the views from our rooms and the side windows/balconies off the hallways were stunning! We could pretty much see all of Innsbruck from our vantage point on the 13th floor. It was cloudy in the morning but the rain had stopped, so we were happy for that.
Buffet breakfast came with our rooms. This was a really nice breakfast except that our timing was awful and we arrived just after a very large tour group had left – which meant that much of the food was in the process of being replenished and the wait staff was hurriedly trying to tidy up and reset the tables. But they were very attentive to our needs and we were able to have a substantial breakfast once the food was restocked.
While breakfast came with our rooms, parking was not included. We parked in the hotel garage and the charge was €15 for the night. It was convenient and there appeared to be very little street parking near the hotel.
Would I stay at the Innsbruck Hilton again? Definitely, yes. At €100 for the night, it was a bit more expensive than we typically pay, but the location was perfect and the hotel up to the standards that we expect from Hilton. The efficient and helpful staff can’t be beat.
If you can secure a upper floor then do so. The rooms facing the mountains provides an amazing view of the color city buildings and stony mountains. The surrounding area is so green.
Why the Hilton? Well, this really was my second choice. But, it turned out to be a great one. The reservation staff and bellman were attentive, professional, and extremely pleasant. Very impressed with sophisticated cute mannerism shared when they spoke of the beloved Austria.
The hotel is connected to a Casino. Since I am not much of a gambler, I bypassed it all together. Too tired the first night. Also, I came to see the city and mountains not the gambling tables. But, for others, this could be a fun alternative. Now, remember, this isn't Vegas so don't expect the energy or loud chatter!
Unique Quality: Location! Location!
Watch the city arise as dawn smiles upon the colorful buildings and grey & green mountains.
One of the tallest buildings in the area. Try to get a room on the upper floor.
Cheaper if you go the pre-paid round. Easy to do online!
Don't you just love the internet!
Directions: Less than a mile from the Train Station. Just walk.

This hotel doesn't need presentation, the name it's already well known, but some people might think that since is so well known it's expensive, well not really.
The hotel is located centrally in Innsbruck, with a fantastic view on the town and on the beautiful mountains.
Rooms are really nice, with a lot of space and really well kept.
An inside parking is available below the hotel, so you can keep your vehicle safe while you sleep or you are out walking, otherwise there's a parking outside behind the hotel.
People at the reception are really friendly and always available to answer your questions, even if you want to plan a visit to some museum or other places, they can help you reach the place and get information about the place (opening hours, etc...)
The rooms were all unique, beds comfy, and staff friendly and helpful. I went here on a class trip, and I plan to come back again in a few years after graduating! I also would like to say that the breakfasts were delicious, and the service was quick and efficient!
Keep on doing what you do Hilton Innsbruck!
I like the Hilton in Innsbruck as it is located in the very center of Innsbruck.
Hilton breakfast is not included with the room rate.
Hilton Innsbruck and Casino Innsbruck share the same building.
Unique Quality: Sauna, steam sauna and a small gym is included with the rate. I recommend the finnish Sauna with temperatures of about 90 degrees celsius.
It is one sauna for male and female!
The Hilton Hotel in Innsbruck is the same building, where I was working in 1979 at the reception, but back then it was a Holiday Inn and today it belongs to the Hilton-hotels.
Unique Quality: The building is quite high, and it was one of the first such buildings in Austria, that had 2 completely seperated towers outside of the building, ment to be used to run down the stairs in case of a fire or other emergency.
Next to the Hilton you will find a modern Casino - you may see it on my picture !
Celebrities who stayed in that hotel, while I was working there :
"Smokie" - including a bunch of teenies running after them -
Milva - Sir Peter Ustinov...
Directions: The Hilton-hotel is next to the Triumphbogen / Triumphal arch, and only about 500 meters to walk from "Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof" , the main train-station of Innsbruck.
My favorite was The Holiday Inn. I had never such a excellent Holyday Inn before anywhere. And as far as I am concenrned, I never had a bad experiance in any Holiday Inn.
But there is more !
Holiday Inn: $ 150 for a double room and $ 100 for a single, which is a double, but used by one person.
Unique Quality: Outstanding rooms and magnificent view from the 15 stories top over Innsbruck.
Directions: All very near the old centre of Innsbruck. You can walk it !
