Reasonably priced accommodation near the old town

My first impression of the Bistro B & B wasn’t very good, as it looked a bit shabby and the corridor smelled of cigarette smoke. The girl at the reception was very friendly, though and since the price was reasonable (70 eur /double room/ night) we decided to spend our one night in Innsbruck here. Our room was clean and tidy and there was enough space for two. The toilet was small but clean, and there were even some toiletries there. But the air ventilator in the toilet was quite annoying as it turned on as soon as you put the light on and it was quite loud.

We had a nice view over to a small river and the Alps. The location of this small hotel was quite good, only about 10 mins walk to the old town and the railway station. There was also a shopping mall near the hotel.

The breakfast was served downstairs, by the reception. It was adequate with bread, juice, coffee/tea and yoghurt.

For those on a budget, Pension Bistro is a good choice!
