Where is located? Is it near Salzburg?

A bit west of Kitzbühel. About 85 km southwest of Salzburg.

Kirchberg is 7 km WEST of Kitzbühel.
Kitzbühel is SOUTH-WEST of Salzburg and NORTH-EAST of Innsbruck (almost halfway between both.) From the map, seems the road from Innsbruck is better, more direct etc.

I found a bargain package deal for a hotel in Kirchberg. I have to check if it's possible to do some daytrips by coach from there. See Innsbruck and Salzburg.

It´s about 1 hour by train to Innsbruck, and 2 hour by public bus (via Kitzbühel, Bad Reichenhall) or train (via Zell am See) to Salzburg. You could also go by bus (via Kitzbühel and Mittersill)to Krimml waterfalls

Hopefully your bargain-offer is for "Kirchberg in Tirol" because that is the one close to Kitzbühel with a great mountain-scenery !
