Take a look also at the cemetery next to the parish-church of St. Andreas and you will see there some interesting tombs and nice tombstones and iron crosses, made in an únique way in the baroque, local style.
In case that you like cemeteries, there is a special one closeby, in Kramsach with an interesting collection of funny inscriptions, but unfortunately you have to understand german in order to understand the very special humor of these inscriptions !

Ellmau & Wilder Kaiser are just 9km from Kitzbühel
Wilder Kaiser is a wonderful mountain-group in the north of Kitzbühel and I think it is really worth to go there as well, when you are spending some time in Kitzbühel. A funicular will take you uphill and you children will find a wonderful playground up there. Also the village of Ellmau is worth seeing, just take a look at my Ellmau-page !

Kitzbuehel is located in Tirol and about 80 km from the City Salzburg. Innsbruck is 90 km away.

For everyone who likes ski-races and wants to see the most famous race in europe - it is a must see activity. The race is the most difficult one in the worldcup series, the skiers drive the hill down with about 120 km/h !

Also the nightlife in Kitzbuehel is worth to see. Many bars and restaurant will welcome you - the whole year.
