The Antonius Chapel

With the beautiful ridge of the Wilder Kaiser on the back ,The Antonius chapel is acessed by a walking route going in the Kaiser Valley, About an hour walking distance from the start of the trail at the end of Kufstein. You can see the chapel on numerous poscards of the region, but it's always better to go see it for yourself.

Daniela...It's been awhile ,girl....

"Daniela in Untere Stadtplatz"

I went visiting Daniela on a snowy winter day travelling all the way from the Stubai Valley , on the other edge of Tirol . It snowed so much during the night that the next day the town was blocked. A friend of mine was supposed to come see me , but he said - "There is no way I get out of the village ,unless I take the tractor" .So he never showed up.
We took a walk along the silent and deserted streets .....so strange.....no cars , no people....It's the last time I saw her in Austria....
It just reminded me that night in Soll , at the end of the season , when the electricity shut down. We picked up candles and walked in the darkness and the covered with snow streets ,till we got in the local pub "Salven Stadl" that was lit only by candle light......and all the snow outside.....Magic.....

"Pension Buchauer"

Here is my Daniela ,with the sun at her back , at our entrance door in Pension Buchauer. She just came back from jogging in the forest. She liked it soo much....

"The fairie street"

The fairie street of Kufstein is located just under the castle and there is a famous local tavern , souvenirs shop, Austrian Tracht / costumes , a little cafe.

Daniela loved the fortress of Kufstein . We even had this poster that she has put over her head with an areal view of it....
