As per usual when visiting an hotel in Austria, I never fail to be impressed with the standards. Family owned are the majority of hotels, this tends to ensure they are superbly well maintained and indeed they all have a personal touch. Mostly they are clean, clean, clean.
The Hannes was no exception, delightful owners who became part of our evenings, wonderful 3/4 course meals each evening and the mornings were greeted with full English and continental breakfasts, as much as you wanted.
Also for those of you who don't mind the German 'way', there is a sauna but not for the shy.
Perfectly situated just a stones throw to the nearest nursery slopes and just a five minute walk from the main gondola to the top of the mountain.
