We first stayed in Hotel das Beck around 9 years ago and were pleased and surprised to find the family who run this hotel still remembered us.
Das Beck is well situated in the centre of Reutte. There are restaurants, shops and supermarkets nearby. The restaurant in the hotel itself is also good,
The Beck family who run the hotel are friendly and hospitable. Check in was quick and pleasant and we were issued with Aktiv cards which provide free bus transport to Fussen/ King Ludvig's castles and other routes. They also provide access to a free Tyrolean evening and discount on the cable car in Hofen. We did not use ours as we go to Reutte to hike and swim, but they are an excellent idea.
Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely balcony with a table and two seats. There is no fridge/ tea/coffee/ or in room safe. The bed was comfortable. The hotel although central is quiet. We slept very well.
Breakfast was good. There was a boil your own egg boiler, whch amused all children visiting, bread, bread rolls, a toaster, a selection of cheeses, a selection of cold meat, jams, honey, cereal, cakes. Coffee and tea are brought to the table and more was offered. There were several delicious fruit juices, too. I thought the breakfast was very good.
I would happily stay here again.
