Went there for one week with friends for skiing, but had the bad experience of being there during a furious avalanche time. Near from Sankt Anton was a small town where several people died because of the avalanches... During a few days (most of the week), all the skiing runs were closed and we had to stay in our hotel. Anyway, the station looks great (we only skied on 3 out of 40 runs) and there seems to be good animation inside the station. A few years ago, I reckon 2001, the worldwide Ski championship occured in Sankt Anton.
Oh, by the way, Austrian are truely amazing at skiing. I am not a super skilled skier but used to be overtook be 6 year old little Austrian...
