Hotel-Garni GAFLUNA: Very good choice

The accomodation was really good, in a quite St Jakob. Room is simple, with fridge and TV, with comfortable beds and spacious bathroom with hairdryer. Room for ski-, snowboard boots is occupied with driers and is downstairs. So don't worry, in the morning boots will be dry. Ski storage is closed at nights.
Breakfast is served from 7:30, you will find always fresh bread, ham and cheese, boiled eggs, musli, cornflakes, orange juice, milk, coffee, tea etc.
Skibus stop is just in front of the hotel. It takes only 2 minutes bus ride to get to the nearest skilift Nasserein.
However around the hotel we haven't found any shop or minimarket. Shopping can be done in St.Anton.

Hotel - Garni Feuerstein: Great value for money!

I would certainly recommend this accommodation! This, apparently family own and run, hotel is very good.

The rooms were spacious and some of them has a balcony as well (our group rented five or six rooms). There is a toilets & showers in every room and they are kept clean. There were TV's in the rooms and there were nice views from them.

You can park your car in the yard. There is a room for keeping your skiing equipment. They offer good buffet breakfast (cerials, bread, coffee&tea, 3 types of juice, omelett, sausage, cheese, ham, yoghurt...)

This place is located in Nasserein and to the closest skilift you will either have to walk 15 mins or catch a free skiing bus (3mins of walk) directly in front of the lift station of Nasserein. Easy and convinient. But do not expect any nightlife around this area as there aren't any. You will have to walk to the city center or take a taxi in order to get there.

Unique Quality: The hotel will offer you a card to the Nasserein JanneSport skiingshop. This card will give you one "storage box" where you can leave your shoes or stuff which you dont want to carry in the slopes with you. This service is free of charge with this card the hotel provides you. We found it very handy as we could leave our shoes and extra bags in there.

zurs pfeffimuller: just leave me here all the time

It’s not often that you come across such a gem of a hotel as this. I may be known as a ‘sourbugger’ around here, but I would be as happy as Larry if I owned this hotel. Well, as happy as Herbert, who started the restaurant next-dorr some years back before taking over the hotel and connecting the two. It would also help being married to the gorgeous Daniela who is a very fine host.
The hotel is thus a family run affair (and it’s a nice touch to see the family with their two kids on the homepage of their website’) but can be placed very squarely in the four-star category. I would recommend taking half-board at this place as the quality of food is incredible. I would place it on a par with a one-star Michelen restaurant.
The comfortable bar area certainly fits that stereotype of an Austrian ski chalet. That’s no bad thing and is at the heart of the generous hospitality encountered here. Welcoming drinks and complimentary cake and coffee in the afternoon were all nice touches.
In skiing season, the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Nasseriem lift, but the hotel runs a free shuttle service to the slopes.
I have rarely enjoyed staying at a hotel so much in recent years, so much so that my review of St Anton will lack any tips on nightlife or restaurants as we never bothered to go outside of the hotel, except for skiing. Why go out for a burger when you can have steak at home ?

Another round of schnapps anyone ? Prost.

Pension Brigitte: Cheap and cheerful

I joined friends who were skiing for the week. The Pension, which is family run is walking distance to the centre and is about 3 minutes from the Rendlbahn gondola lift. Most rooms are en-suite, and there is no curfew. We paid EUR 42 a night per head including breakfast. Minimum stay five nights and no credit cards accepted.

Unique Quality: family run, cheap, central - was an easy walk back after après-skiing.
