take the passroad over the Arlberg
Skipasses now come in the form of a magnetic strip card, which carries a EUR 4 deposit. When you have finished with your pass, return it and you will receive your deposit back. That way you have enough for a final beer in St Anton. As a non-skier taking the Vallugabahn up to 2811m and enjoying the view was great - it was so quiet up there, the view so clear. Hard to beat.
