I took the photo using a window as amirror, so all is reversed in the front of the cafe.
It is simply a look back at the visit to St Johann, for apart from adding some more photos to a travelogue, I will leave St Johann and hope that if and when you visit you will enjoy the location as much as I did.
St Johann in Tirol, my choice was picture perfect.

"A model chalet with the mountains behind."
The model is an excellent replica of the type of home one associates with rural Austria especially with the mountains as a back drop.
This location, with the Wilder Kaiser mountains the cafe/restaurant Hirschberg just below the BergSee on the Kitzbuheler Horn, above St Johann.
I have several other photos in the pages of the view from that location, some whimsical, some more prosaic. I hope you will take time to enjoy them.
St Johann is a small town of about 6,000 people, 10 kms from Kitzbuhel in Tirol.
"An early morning view of Wilder Kaiser."
St Johann is a magical place for me, it is small, has most amenities one needs and is still surrounded by natural places.
An excellent place to hike, great places to eat and have a drink on that hike and in season has gondola access to the Kitzbuheler Horn.
In October well you have to climb, I admit the sign said 2 hours to a certain place, well as you get older, that journey takes longer. I managed it in 3 hours.
"A hike on the other side of the Valley."
An excellent place to stop for lunch on the hike under the Niederkaiser mountain with the Wilder Kaiser mountain towering higher and behind the Niederkaiser.
There appears to be one gully along the face of the Niederkaiser that can be climbed and the peak that is reached is Gsheuerkopf at 1279m, where one can reach the top and take in a view of St Johann.
It is possible to climb even higher and take the path that reaches Ellmauer Tor on Wilder kaiser at 1995 m. The peaks around you then include Ellmauer Halt at 2344 m and Ackert Spitze at 2329m.
A better centre for reaching the higher pass is the village of Ellmau or possibly Going , both in the valley north west of St Johann.
