I have to agree...
We popped into this hotel during August 2005 and I have to agree with the previous poster, the décor is still awful, who dreamt up this colour scheme? We had gone in for coffee but the reception area was such a bright red we couldn't stay. The ladies toilet had an orange and brown pattern on all walls and ceiling!

The hotel has 3 stars but you can’t compare it to the Scandinavian 3 star hotel.
It is somewhat worn out and even the rooms that are renovated look tiered.
The colour scheme is horrible!
The so called renovated rooms do have some advantages: a balcony and great view overlooking to the Wilder Keiser mountain range, key card to open the door.
The hotel has 3 stars but you can’t compare it to the Scandinavian 3 star hotel.

Hotel has a good location in the centre of the town. Slopes are about 5 min walks with normal footwear. With ski boots twice as much.
I don't think I would have chosen this hotel but as it was part of the package I had no choice. But it wasn’t too bad and in the end it kind of grows on you
Unique Quality: The so called renovated rooms do have some advantages: a balcony and great view overlooking to the Wilder Keiser mountain range, key card to open the door.
The food in hotel restaurant is surprisingly good. It must be because Italians own it and most of the staff is Italians as well.
You might have some language problems with the staff. At reception they speak Italian, German and English. But most of the waiters have really poor language skills but they are still very friendly and welcoming.
Hotel guests have free entry to sauna (Finnish sauna and steam room) and to the water park. To go to the water park you need to take a voucher from the reception.
There is no separate sauna/dressing room/showers for men and women. So if you shy and don’t feel comfortable being naked around bunch of strangers then you might want to skip that.
Hotel also has a nightclub but it wasn’t busy so you might want to go town for a good night out.
